Just Keep Swimming

Our favorite summer pass time is swimming.  The kids absolutely love to swim and would choose to swim everyday if it was a possibility.  They boys do great swimming with their bubbles, thank goodness.  I am usually not able to get in with them so I can take care of Parker while they're swimming.  They practically have gills.  It's hard to believe that the swimming season is about over.  Now that school has started it will come to and end quickly.  Love watching my little monkey have fun playing games and jumping off the diving board.  Makes me smile every time.

Last Minute Family Fun

A couple of weeks ago it was a beautiful Saturday morning so we thought we would put our zoo pass to good use and packed up lunch and headed to the zoo.  The last time at the zoo we didn't ride the train so that was the first stop this trip.  We road the train around the entire zoo, if it were up to the boys we would have stayed on the train the entire day.  Once we finally got them off the train we got on the tram and made our way to Africa.  Last trip we visited Australia.  We like to just stick to one continent per visit, much easier with 4 kiddos.  We go until they're done, which doesn't really take to long.  The weather was so nice all the animals were out and moving around, that hasn't always been the case when we have gone before.
The kids loved the sky tram, they are old enough we went on that one way and then walked back around.  Which was perfect timing then it was lunch time.  Kids ate packed lunch, I fed Parker and we got to ride the tram back and loaded up in the car and came home.  I love last minute family fun, it's such a treat.
A later in the week my mom came across Royals tickets, there were 3 so we took Payton to the game.  She offered to come over and watch the boys, so another fun night of last minute family fun.  The weather was perfect to sit and watch baseball and eat junk food.  I love summer nights!

Riding the train (poor Mitch barely could get his legs inside)

July Rundown

This will be another post with an abundance of pictures for my records then anything else.  If you like pics then keep on scrolling down.  July came and went quick.  Our neighborhood always have a parade the morning of the 4th for the kids.  A firetruck leads the way and off we all went.  The firetruck was the highlight of the day for the boys.  To follow was a little pool time, and then off to see fireworks.
Payton enjoyed a night out with Mitch and I when we attended my cousins wedding.  It was beautiful and she was a glowing beautiful bride.  It was an evening outside wedding by a pool.  If you use your imagination you understand why we left all the boys at home.  We enjoyed ourselves and Payton danced the night away, just like her Daddy does.  Oh.. wait my mistake that's me who dances all night not Mitch.  Payton even caught the bouquet, Daddy has to be on the look out.  We enjoyed some good family time and the month was over in a blink of an eye.
