Pumpkin Carving

This morning Payton and her Daddy carved her pumpkin. She was so excited to see the inside of her pumpkin. She was very helpful as Daddy got her pumpkin ready. She wanted to be right in there seeing every movement he did and made sure he was doing it correctly. As much as she loves to play in dirt and mud, she wasn't loving the feeling of the inside of the pumpkin innereds. She made Daddy finish digging it all out.

Pumpkin Patch

Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch. It was a beautiful day out and we got enjoy it for a couple of hours. Payton got to see animals, watch a pig race, play on a play set and ride on a hay ride. She loved the big tractors and helping daddy pick out just the right pumpkins. Uncle Sean was in town and got to come along with us for the morning. Payton's favorite pumpkins are the little white ones. She would have brought them all home if she could fit them in her arms. We had a great time picking the best pumpkins we could find

6 Months and Growing

It is hard to believe that I am 6 months along. Granted I look like I am about 9 months along. I am now starting to get asked everywhere I go how much longer I have left. The boys are doing great as of last week my ultrasound said they both were weighing 1lb. 4oz. They like to pretend they are in the middle of a soccer field, playing for the championship. Here is the latest peak of what a 6 month along woman with twins looks like!!!

Fall has Arrived

On the first fall Sunday of October Payton and Mitch spent the morning with Grammie and Papa Phil at Ernie Miller Park. It was the perfect day to enjoy the beautiful weather. I was at home sleeping from working the night before but they had a great adventure exploring in the woods. Payton was very excited to share with me that she saw squirrels, a frog, and lots of bugs. She told me all about it when I woke up. Can't think of a much better way to spend a beautiful fall morning. ( unless apple cider, and donuts are involved)

One morning last week my neighbor Amy and I ( the 2 pregnant ones) sat in our chairs and let the kids run around for an hour or so. Payton and Logan are good friends and she was so excited to have him drive her around in her Barbie Jeep. Sadly she has not concurred good driving skills yet so is unable to drive her jeep by herself. I am getting way to big to chase her and stop from going into the street or running into trees. Logan was hesitate at first but then decided that driving a barbie jeep wasn't all that bad. They had a great time until the battery died anyway.
Last Friday we decided to go to the Louisburg Cider Mill for the morning. Amy and the boys came with us. They climbed on the hay bales and through hay everywhere. They had a great time. We all enjoyed donuts and apple cider. I got to buy a bag of apple cider donut mix which I love to put in when I make pancakes. I just substitute it for the flour and it takes heavenly. They had a great time, it is so much fun to just watch kids enjoy them self.
