I am so Thankful!

I am extremely thankful this year to have such a wonderful family. We got to enjoy 3 family days. Mitch was off starting Wednesday and I didn't work until Saturday night(tonight). In our world that never happens. Thanksgiving morning we all did the Turkey Trott together. We couldn't have asked for better weather it was beautiful. The kids had fun, well Payton loved it and the boys slept through the entire run. I guess that means they liked it too. We spent the afternoon in Belton with my Dad's family and had wonderful food, tons of it. The kids got to enjoy the gorgeous day and played outside after eating. They had to burn off all that sugar somehow. On our way home we stopped by Mitch parents to say hi and have some dessert.

I am extremely Thankful for our family and friends they all mean the world to us.

Wizard of Oz

We got good use of our costumes this year. It started Sunday afternoon with our neighborhood costume parade. We decided to test out the wagon. The boys loved it even though they would hang sideways to look at the ground. They thought it was pretty cool. The fire truck came to the parade and the firemen judged all the costumes. TCheck Spellinghere was pizza and a couple of games then home for naps. Everyone but Daddy took naps.
That evening our church hosted trunk-or-treat. It was a full house, there were tons of kids. They got to sport their costumes again and visit some of our friends. Payton even got to see her Preschool teachers, so she was so excited. She had a hard time waiting in line, she just wanted to walk by everyone. I know so much easier. I left from church and headed off to work and Daddy brought everyone home to get ready for bed.
Monday we got all dressed up again and started off at the neighbors house for dinner. The last 3 years we have started at the Bauers house with dinner, and pictures. It nice to have a group of us all together. The kids run much faster this year then before. Well at least only one of mine does. Mitch pulled the boys in the wagon again. They did pretty good until bed time hit. Then they were trying to lay down. Mitch's mom came over to hand out candy at our house while we had all the kids out. That is so nice, there are tons of houses around do the same thing. I like that Mitch and I both can enjoy going together. Mitch took the boys home and I stayed out with Payton. We did pretty good until she wiped out off the curb and skinned her knee. She decided she was done after that. We made it home just in time to visit with our good friends the Helms. They came over and Payton was so excited to see Noah and Mila. All the kids looked so cute all dressed up, it's just so much fun!
