8 years and counting!

March 23 was the day that Mitch and I started dating. I had come home from K-State sick with mono and Mitch was still in college at Ottawa University. He came to visit me while I was sick and it just kept going from there. It has been 8 years. It is hard to believe that in that much time we finished school, got married, lived in 2 different locations and started our family. It doesn't feel like that much time has actually gone by. I have enjoyed everyday of the past 8 years and can't wait for the next 8 and many more to come.

spring is arriving

So does anyone else have that spring itch? I can tell that it is getting nicer outside. We have had the windows open a couple of days and it's been great. I am getting read to do spring cleaning. I don't really like spring cleaning but love when it is all finished and the house feels so fresh. Yesterday we had half of our neighbors already mowing their yards for the first time. I need to go shopping and pick out a new spring scent for candles and plug ins for the spring. It always feels more official once Easter is here. Last weekend now that the time changed has happened it's so nice having it light out later in the evening. I really enjoyed it on Saturday because I only had to work 11 hours instead of 12. Don't you wish that someone would come through and do all your spring cleaning for you? I do, actually it isn't really all too bad. It doesn't really take to long to get it all done. We should be getting Payton's new baby furniture next week hopefully. I will feel much better once I get her room back and order again. This time I don't have to worry about her furniture getting recalled since this next bedroom set is stained not painted.
